Coro Kensington singer Allyson Reeves has been selected to attend the Leadership Forum for Young Musicians at the Take A Stand Symposium in Los Angeles! The symposium, which is facilitated by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Bard College, and the Longy School of Music will be a fantastic opportunity to grow and meet students from El Sistema programs across the country. SCG Founder Alysia Lee will accompany Allyson to Los Angeles and attend the symposium for Teaching Artists. Los Angeles Philharmonic Music Director Gustavo Dudamel will lead the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela and the LA Philharmonic in performances for the event.
Sixteen-year-old Allyson Reeves is a tenth grade student at Kensington Arts and Science Charter School.
