A Day at the Barnes Museum

On October 1, some members of the Sister Cities Girlchoir Travel Choir were invited to sing at the Barnes Museum in Center City.  They sang some SCG standards and had the opportunity to tour the museum.  The girls got to see artwork by Picasso, Matisse, and Renoir, among others. Miss Anne and Miss Kendra went with the girls on this fun filled day of art and music!

Kathleen Greene of the Barnes Foundation helped arrange the event, and said “We thoroughly enjoyed having your girls share their voices and look forward to seeing how we can welcome them back in 2018.”

Miss Anne was also thrilled with the event, saying “I was so impressed with our singers. Not just the fact that they sounded so beautiful (which they did!) but that they handled  themselves like true professionals. They were poised, focused and expressive and I can’t wait to show these talented performers off again. We are proud of our Sister Cities Girls!”

Congratulations SCG girls on a successful performance!
