Yes, birds sing..and so do Sister Cities Girls! Throwback to June 15, 2019 when a group of girls traveled to spend the day with the community of Frenchtown, NJ where all dressed up as birds of many colors and hatched..yes, hatched!..out of a giant egg! The Hatchwas followed by a parade through town and a community potluck lunch on the lawn overlooking the Delaware River.
The genius behind this community gathering belongs to the amazingly talented, Jill Kearny, Executive Director at ArtYard (www.artyard.org) a center for incubating creative expression, that has a home in Frenchtown.
